A girl can never have too many shoes...right? At least, that's what I like to tell myself. After spending an hour online looking for new summer sandals, I could not find a single pair that were cute yet affordable. I decided to head over to my local Nordstrom Rack to see what I could find, and I was not disappointed.

Lookbook: Summer Breeze
Here is my first outfit post to kick off my new Lookbook series! I have always loved fashion and this is an exciting way for me to become even more creative with my day to day style choices.
Anthropologie, DSW, and F21 Haul
Hi everyone! Sorry for the lack of updates :X I have been so busy with work and classes this past week that I barely had time to sit down and breathe. Needless to say I missed blogging quite a bit :) I am quite behind on my Taiwan/Japan posts and will probably only put a few more up when I have time to dig through my photos and edit them all. However, I have so many other posts to put up (I have 7 drafts right now) and I want to start doing OOTDs and reviews again as it's been highly requested from a lot of readers...
In any case, today I'm going to share a few purchases I bought over the last week.
I stopped by Anthropologie with my mom the other day. My mom found this gorgeous top for only $8! So crazy; I rarely see Anthropologie clothes marked down to $15, let alone $8. The price tag actually said it was on sale for $35 but when we got to the register we found out that it was only $8....again, so crazy. We're the same size so I'll definitely be stealing it :)
As for me, I bought this beautiful and soft seafoam green sweater. I love the silver accents! This was on sale for $25. This is actually a size Large and I'm a size small, but it actually fits quite well and in any case I love baggy sweaters.
This pair of gorgeous brown boots was purchased for $50 at DSW. I love my black pair of combat boots and so I wanted more in all sorts of different colors! I picked brown first because I love the look of brown combat boots and a floral dress. Sadly I currently only own one floral dress but I know I'll buy more in the near future.
I bought this pair of earrings for about $2 at Forever 21. I rarely wear sparkly jewelry but I love the rose gold color and the design. Plus it was only $2!
Hope you enjoyed my haul! And don't forget to enter my giveaway (which ends soon!) here!

Taiwan Haul Part 1
Hi everyone! I am finally back in the States; I arrived this morning and have been furiously unpacking since. I have yet to finish my Taiwan and Japan entries but since they do take up quite a good amount of time to write out, I am going to focus on my purchases first :P This post in particular will focus on the shoes that I bought in Taiwan.
I bought this pair of brown wedges at Feng Jia Night Market for about 350 NTD ($12 USD). They're surprisingly comfortable. I've been looking for a pair of simple brown wedges for quite some time now and I'm thrilled that I was able to buy some at such a low price. In case you are wondering, the quality of these wedges is quite good. The only flaw I can see is that the bottom of the wedges are somewhat flat and may therefore cause me to lose my balance on some surfaces. However, for such a cheap price and great quality, I'll take my chances.
This pair of cat flats was purchased at the Taipei Underground Mall for only 190 NTD ($6 USD). They fit my feet perfectly and are easy to walk in. I doubt I'll wear these often but they're certainly cute to look at haha.
This pair of jeweled sandals was also purchased at the Taipei Underground Mall for 450 NTD ($15 USD). The quality of these shoes are amazing; they're so soft and comfortable.
Last but not least, I bought this pair of heels during my second trip to Feng Jia Night Market. These were 290 NTD ($10 USD). I love the lace/glitter pattern!
I originally planned on buying a lot more shoes but unfortunately due to weight limitations (23 kg) I couldn't buy more than a few pairs :( Regardless, I'm extremely happy with the shoes that I bought and can't wait to wear them out!
Nordstrom Rack Haul
My mom and I stopped by Nordstrom Rack last night after buying fruit and veggies at Whole Foods). I wasn't planning on buying anything, but walked out with two pairs of shoes -_-"
One of my Ugg boots got a hole near the toe recently so I needed new winter boots. At first, I was planning on buying another pair of Uggs; although they aren't the most attractive boots ever, they certainly keep my feet warm. However, the traction sucks and I find myself slipping all the time. I found these pair of snow boots marked down from $150 to $30. They're not that stylish but it keeps my feet warm AND provides enough traction to make sure that I won't fall if there's snow/slush outside.
I also bought this pair of nude t strap flats. I actually have been eyeing these flats for a while and they finally got marked down to a reasonable price, $15! They're kind of snug (I usually wear a size 8 or 8 1/2 and these happen to be a size 8) but I'm sure that as I wear them more often, they'll stretch a little.
My mom picked out this high-low skirt for me. I like the color (white with gold sparkles) but I'm just not sure about the high-low part. It's only $6 though...
What do you guy think? Keep or return?

Heels for a Penny!
*Disclaimer: the shoes mentioned in this post were purchased with my own money*
I love DSW. Like seriously LOVE DSW.
Their customer service may not be the greatest, as I have found out in the past, but I forgive them. Because seriously...where else can I purchase shoes that cost only one penny?!
DSW sent out an email (if you are a rewards member, be sure to check your inbox!) offering $10 off any $10+ purchase. I figured if I couldn't find a pair of shoes that I liked, I could always buy socks or something. So I was so happy when I found a pair of gorgeous heels for 80% off!
These heels were originally $60 but sold at DSW for $45. It had a yellow sticker on it, which means that there is an additional 80% off discount, making the shoes only $9. With my $10 off discount, I ended up (happily) paying one cent. The photos do not do the shoes justice...the lighting was terrible since I took these pictures at night -_-"
I'm 5'6" and already tower over the majority of my friends, and with these heels I'll easily be around 5'10" hehe.
So yeah, if you're not a DSW rewards member already, you should definitely consider signing up to be one. They already sell all of their shoes at a reduced price (think Marshall's or Nordstrom Rack) and on top of that, their clearance section is pretty awesome :)

Forever 21 Haul
*Disclaimer: Everything seen in this post was purchased with my own money*
My Forever 21 package just came in today! I usually don't make online purchases that exceed $30, so for me to spend $60 is pretty rare. I made up for it by working extra hours this week haha.
Everything was packaged very well and arrived fairly fast. I placed the order on Tuesday and received it today (Saturday).
I have never purchased shoes from Forever 21 before and was really scared about the fit and the quality, but to my surprise I LOVE my shoes...
This pair of galaxy print high tops was a complete impulse buy. I'm so happy that they are absolutely perfect- I usually wear a size 8/8.5 and ordered a size 8, which turned out to be the right decision. These shoes are so comfortable!
I'm in love with the beautiful galaxy print.
I also ordered this cute bow ring. I think I paid about $2 for it.
As some of you may already know, I have this ridiculously strong obsession with tigers and lions. Recently Forever 21 has been releasing a variety of tops with tigers on it...is it some sort of a spring trend? Prints of tigers? ._. In any case, I love this muscle tee. I'm not a huge fan of the studs by the armpit area but it's not a huge deal.
This pair of high waisted shorts were really cheap, around $13. I'm probably going to buy a few more pairs in other colors.
A heart studded belt was included with the purchase of the high waisted shorts.
I'm so ready for spring/summer! What do you think some of the spring/summer 2013 trends will be?

Urban Outfitters Presidents' Day Sale Purchases
Back home, the nearest Urban Outfitters is about 40 minutes away. Urban Outfitters is one of my favorite stores, but I rarely make the trip to the store as I find their clothes to be on the pricey side. I only go when there's a good sale.
Luckily for me, here at college, there is an Urban Outfitters store super close to where I live. It only takes about 7-10 minutes to walk there. Since I received an email about their Presidents' Day sale and how you can take an additional 30% off sale items in store, I decided to go there this morning (I tend to shop pretty early in the morning...that way everything is set up nicely so I don't have to dig through a pile of clothes!).
Although the sale section wasn't as great as I thought it would be, I still bought this dress. I was extremely hesitant about it as it costs $28 (with the additional 30% off) and I rarely purchase anything that's over $20, but when I tried it on I knew I had to buy it. Plus, it's still full price online!
I also bought this super cute/weird/unique flats. I actually have been eyeing these pair of flats for a while (I love love love tigers!) but didn't think they were worth $34. Last night I was browsing through the Urban Outfitters site and saw that these were marked down to $20, but even then I was reluctant to pay that much for so-so quality shoes.
I was so happy when I wandered to the shoe section and found the flats marked down to $10! And then with the additional 30% off, these shoes came out to be just $7 :)
I'm not sure what to wear with these crazy flats, so suggestions would be appreciated!

Shoes, School Supplies, and Blush
Super creative title, I know.
I recently bought two pairs of flats from Target. They were seriously such a steal; each pair was only $6! I really wanted a red pair but they didn't have any in my size. In any case, they are surprisingly comfortable to wear and also really cute.
Is it weird that I really like to buy school supplies? Even more than clothes? Okay well maybe not more than buying clothes, but pretty darn close.
I needed Post-it flags so I could organize my Statistics 100 notebook. My orange highlighter ran out of ink last week (I only brought one to college...), hence the package of sharpies. I love the bright colors; it makes highlighting my notes a thousand times more fun than if I were to use just one highlighter. And does anyone else love G2 pens?! They are pretty much the only pens I use. They're sort of expensive in stores, but through Amazon I paid about $1 per pen.
I also purchased the NYX blush in Taupe. I don't know if it's still sold in stores because I couldn't find it at my local Ulta, and so I had to order it through Amazon.

I have been using this blush to contour my face. However, I was disappointed in the pigmentation- it's not as rich as I would like. I ran my fingers over the surface of the brush to check out the pigmentation and nothing showed up. I guess this can be a good thing, as it allows me to control how much I want on my face and overall is subtle...but nevertheless I was surprised that it was nowhere as pigmented as my Nyx blush in Dusty Rose. I was also disappointed that the case was cracked. The clear part of the lid therefore sometimes pops out, which isn't a big deal but still irritating to have to constantly fix.
If anyone else owns this blush, please let me know if the pigmentation is more or less the same for you as well!
The (Not So) Massive Post: Part IV
Wow, it's been a while since I last updated my blog! ><" Almost a month, actually...unfortunately, it's the same excuse- I've been super busy with school, my jobs, church, etc. I hope to start blogging more often, though. I really miss it!
Oh, and here's a big HELLO to my new followers! :)
Anyway, here's the super duper late The Massive Post: Part IV! Better late than never, right? I added the (not so) because as I mentioned a while back, I can't find any of the pictures from my birthday >:( So here are the pictures of what I got for Christmas. I only asked for chocolate and money so I was surprised to find out that I still got a few other small things :)
Gahhh I love this cup so much :) I love the size of it, I love the floral print, I love the color, and I love the "J" printed on it :) And yes, it's supposed to be slightly crooked haha. That just makes me love it even more! I actually told my mom not to buy me any clothes/shoes from Anthropologie for Christmas because it's way too expensive; although the designs are breathtakingly gorgeous, I just can't justify spending $200 on a dress, especially since I'm going to college next year and those fees will add up to some ridiculous amount of money. So my mom didn't get me clothes/shoes from Anthropologie...but she got me a cup! :)
Combat boots <3 I love these so much. My mom told me to pick out a pair of shoes and since I have wanted a pair of black combat boots since forever, I chose this pair of Wanted boots from DSW.com. They're super comfortable! When my friends (and even my parents!) saw me wearing these, they all told me that they didn't think I would like combat boots but that I pulled it off really well...so I guess that's a good thing? Haha :)
Okay, you don't even understand how excited I was to receive these! This series is amazing! lsafjlskfj;slafj; lfkj I am so happy I own all of them now; I think my local library was getting fed up with all of my renewal requests for these book! My brothers pulled money together to buy me these books and I'm forever in their debt. Just kidding.
I'm not a fan of the cover in the middle, and honestly the third cover looks a bit cheesy....but the first cover? LOVE.

Finally, chocolate! Anddd a few sour apple-flavored candy canes. They sound a little disgusting but they were really good.
Anddd that's what I got :) Excluding the money, of course. I had so much fun buying presents for everyone this year; I didn't have a chance to take pictures of what I bought but it was a fairly random mix of items! Skincare products, toys, drumsticks, makeup, socks, etc....Overall, Christmas was amazing!
....it feels kind of weird typing that sentence, since Christmas was over a month ago....smh.
