Here is my first outfit post to kick off my new Lookbook series! I have always loved fashion and this is an exciting way for me to become even more creative with my day to day style choices.

OOTD & Fried Chicken

Please pardon the extremely dirty mirror -_-"
Today was a little chilly outside but at least it's starting to feel like spring!

| Bun :) |
I just got back from eating dinner with Angel, Debbie, and Grace. Every Thursday night there's a Southern food theme at one of the nearby dorms, and so we went there to eat some yummy fried chicken. I ended up eating one piece of fried chicken, collar greens, 3 fried okra things, cornbread, cucumbers, blackberries/blueberries/raspberries/strawberries, and banana pudding.
I'm going out for bubble tea and froyo with my roomie in about an hour ahahaha. The Freshman 15 is real!
Oh, and I apologize for the super grainy pictures. I've been lazy...so instead of taking pictures with my heavy camera I use my phone hehe.
Volunteering, Lunch, Shopping, and OOTD
Today I went and volunteered at a local elementary school for a club that I am in. We visit the same class of third graders every week and they are absolutely adorable. Today we talked about local farmers markets and fresh fruits and vegetables. We then gave each student Chobani blueberry/peach yogurt and let the students choose whether or not they wanted to add in fresh blueberries, raspberries, or blackberries. I didn't realize how much kids liked blueberries until today -_-" I was the one in charge of blueberries and so I witnessed first hand how much they love blueberries haha.
After that I went to lunch. I avoided the super delicious but super high in calories stir fry and stuck with pasta. I also made a simple salad (mixed greens, carrots, tofu, and Italian dressing) and got a bowl of grapes/blackberries. The drink looks like juice but it's fruit infused water. It doesn't taste like fruit though lol it tastes like plain old water.
Then my roommate and I went to the mall. It's a bit of a hassle to get to the nearby mall; the bus ride alone takes about 30-45 minutes. However, my roomie wanted to get a birthday present for her sister and I needed to do some shopping before I fly off to Taiwan. On our way to the bus a guy from Jimmy John's was handing out free sandwiches for a promotion or something. I chose the vegetarian sub. It was actually pretty good! I thought that it was just going to be a sandwich filled with lettuce and cucumbers but there were also tomatoes and really good cheese.
I ended up buying only two things, which I will reveal later. The mall near my school doesn't have a lot of my favorite stores, hence why I only bought two things. I had a fun time checking out this unique and indie store; it reminds me of Urban Outfitters.
They had a whole section dedicated to mustache-related things hehe.
After my roomie and I finished shopping we went to wait for the bus. However, we were unsure of which bus to take and ultimately ended up waiting over 30 minutes for the bus to come -______-"
Here's my OOTD. It's nothing special though :P I really liked the Forever 21 blue plaid dress seen in the picture but it's really sheer so I didn't think it was worth $25 :/
Have a nice day~!

OOTD
The weather here is seriously messed up. I went from wearing summer dresses to wearing my puffy winter coat in just a few days.

I'm so glad it's almost Friday...I'm absolutely ready for the weekend. I just have to type up my essay due tomorrow and then I'm FREE...for two days.
Summer 2013, please come quickly.
Rain, Rain, Go Away
Today started off as a mildly crappy day, mostly because of the rain. However, as the day progressed, it got a little better. I took my two exams and am extremely happy; I'm confident that I scored at least a 95% on both exams, so praise God! :)
Today's OOTD was super boring so I don't have a lot to say about it haha. I stayed up all night studying for my exams and so in the morning the last thing I wanted to do was spend even just a few minutes putting an outfit together, hence what I call the "hobo outfit."
Anyway, I'm still editing pictures for some posts I've been working on, so I hope after a few more exams/essays I will be able to finish editing and put them up on my blog :)

OOTD
I have two exams tomorrow and I'm absolutely freaking out :( I have a ton of studying to do tonight!
I bought this skirt from H&M a while ago but never wore it. I only cut off the price tag today! I'm not sure if I like how this outfit looks though. I think it'll look better without the black cardigan but for the sake of being a bit more modest I decided to keep it on.
What do you think?

OOTD
I received my first (and certainly not last) pair of combat boots when I was in high school. I was actually afraid of wearing them to school because they were so different from what I usually wore (my daily outfit back then consisted of Uggs or flip flops, skinny jeans, and a tshirt). I think I only wore them out 2 or 3 times; that's how scared I was of deviating from my "typical style". I thought the combat boots were too hardcore haha. Looking back, that was silly of me; I was so afraid of being judged/criticized that I didn't wear what I wanted to wear!
Now it's a completely story. I'll wear an all-black outfit one day (think black skinny jeans, a black band tshirt, combat boots and tons of rings) and then wear a pink and white summer dress with white sandals the very next day. I don't have a definite style. I simply wear what I want to wear! :)
Right now it is 70 degrees outside! Since it's supposed to rain later on in the day, I decided to wear my pair of skinny cargo jeans because I absolutely detest wearing shorts out in the rain.
Actually, I don't like it when it rains, period. The only good thing about the rain is that I get to use my super obnoxious neon green umbrella >:P
Anyway, have you ever hesitated to wear something because it isn't something that you usually wear? How did you overcome that "fear"...? Let me know by leaving a comment below; I would love to hear your thoughts!

OOTD
I told myself earlier today that I was going to put up an actual post but then my computer crashed -_- I spent the last few hours trying to fix it. And although I eventually managed to fix it, I unfortunately lost most of my pictures that I took for future posts so I had to retake them all today; I have yet to finish editing them lol.
Today's weather was absolutely perfect. Mid 70's and sunny outside :) It's supposed to rain for the next few days though...askf;afiwoaj; I can't wait for the summer!
Oh and I give up on the losing weight thing hahaha. All I want to do is flatten my stomach and lose some of my face fat so I'll be focusing more on drinking a ton of water and doing lots of planks for the next few days lololol.

OOTD and FOTD
It's really nice out today! Good weather always puts me in a good mood :) Too bad I'm stuck inside...I am swamped with homework and essays to write, hence the lack of posts (aside from the OOTDs of course, but those usually contain just a picture and short text).

Another simple outfit. I have a lot of accessories but never wear them...I guess I prefer to keep it as simple as possible haha.
And here's a rare FOTD! Then again, I always stick to my simple makeup routine, so there's really no point in doing a FOTD.
Today's Diet:
Breakfast: a banana
Lunch: Organic Flax Plus oatmeal, Zico coconut water
Snack: TBD
Dinner: TBD

Today's Diet:
Breakfast: Nothing (woke up late)
Lunch: About a cup or two of bowtie pasta, half with spaghetti sauce and half with alfredo sauce. A bowl of blackberries and blueberries. Four strawberries.
Snack: A handful of raw almonds, apples with low fat caramel dip
Dinner: Two scrambled eggs (my stomach is still super upset akjf;lsafj I want to eat real food!!)
OOTD and Weight Loss Goal
Hi everyone! Here is my OOTD...it's sort of a bumming around outfit IMO. Nothing fancy; instead, it's extremely casual and comfy. I apologize for the super blurry picture; I'm still trying to figure out how to use the self-timer so that the auto focus is on me and not the background :/
Also, as of today, I'm going to set a weight loss goal. I have gained a considerable amount of weight since entering college and I need to lose some of it. I hate how fat my face/legs look in pictures now :( My goal is to lose at least 5 pounds by the end of the school year. I'm going to start keeping track of what I eat each day, starting tomorrow, (and post it on here to keep myself accountable kekeke) and exercise a lot more ><" Wish me luck!
