I Miss Blogging!
Hi everyone! I can't believe it's been about 4 months since I last blogged...I really miss blogging :( Unfortunately I've been really busy for the past few weeks and I'm sure things will only get busier from here, especially with finals coming up! I have a few review and haul posts coming up so I hope to get started on them over winter break :) Until then, here is a picture of a mini layer cake I made! The inside is filled with fresh whipped cream, peaches, and strawberries :)
More Food
Hi everyone! Sorry for not posting for the last few days. Finals week is finally here and I have been studying like crazy. For the first time in my life I studied for 7 hours straight on Thursday @_@
Last night I hung out with my small group. We first went to eat dinner at Star Karaoke, a Korean restaurant with 노래방 (karaoke rooms). We skipped the karaoke option and so we only went for the food. We ordered rabokki, fried chicken with sweet and mild sauce on the side, and sweet potato and kimchi pizza. The pizza was...interesting. It's not as bad as it sounds but I'm still not sure if I like it or not. The fried chicken was amazing though!
After dinner, we went bowling. It was pretty fun despite the fact that I absolutely suck at bowling -_- Then we went to watch Iron Man 3, which was a lot better than I expected it to be! There were so many parts that caused me to jump or freak out lololol.
I woke up at 8:30 this morning to eat brunch with my small group leader Susan. We went to the Original House of Pancakes where I ordered a Western Scramble, which came with 3 buttermilk pancakes. Everything was really good :)

Overall yesterday was a really good day. Today was not so great, mainly because I woke up feeling extremely tired and could barely keep my eyes open throughout church service.
I'm going to go take a nap now. Hope you guys are having a good day~!
Volunteering, Lunch, Shopping, and OOTD
Today I went and volunteered at a local elementary school for a club that I am in. We visit the same class of third graders every week and they are absolutely adorable. Today we talked about local farmers markets and fresh fruits and vegetables. We then gave each student Chobani blueberry/peach yogurt and let the students choose whether or not they wanted to add in fresh blueberries, raspberries, or blackberries. I didn't realize how much kids liked blueberries until today -_-" I was the one in charge of blueberries and so I witnessed first hand how much they love blueberries haha.
After that I went to lunch. I avoided the super delicious but super high in calories stir fry and stuck with pasta. I also made a simple salad (mixed greens, carrots, tofu, and Italian dressing) and got a bowl of grapes/blackberries. The drink looks like juice but it's fruit infused water. It doesn't taste like fruit though lol it tastes like plain old water.
Then my roommate and I went to the mall. It's a bit of a hassle to get to the nearby mall; the bus ride alone takes about 30-45 minutes. However, my roomie wanted to get a birthday present for her sister and I needed to do some shopping before I fly off to Taiwan. On our way to the bus a guy from Jimmy John's was handing out free sandwiches for a promotion or something. I chose the vegetarian sub. It was actually pretty good! I thought that it was just going to be a sandwich filled with lettuce and cucumbers but there were also tomatoes and really good cheese.
I ended up buying only two things, which I will reveal later. The mall near my school doesn't have a lot of my favorite stores, hence why I only bought two things. I had a fun time checking out this unique and indie store; it reminds me of Urban Outfitters.
They had a whole section dedicated to mustache-related things hehe.
After my roomie and I finished shopping we went to wait for the bus. However, we were unsure of which bus to take and ultimately ended up waiting over 30 minutes for the bus to come -______-"
Here's my OOTD. It's nothing special though :P I really liked the Forever 21 blue plaid dress seen in the picture but it's really sheer so I didn't think it was worth $25 :/
Have a nice day~!

I ♥ Painting
I took Painting I last semester and fell in love with painting, to the point in which I begged my counselor to let me switch from Computer Graphics I to Painting II. My school is super strict on not letting students switch courses, so I was really grateful that my counselor let me do so anyway. We used acrylics during Semester I and now we are using watercolors. I definitely prefer watercolors over acrylics!
I was working on a painting but got bored and decided to paint my hand :P Why am I so cool....
Anyway, I'm still extremely sick. I'm so glad I don't have school for the next two days...hopefully I'll get betters soon! Being suck truly sucks :(

The (Not So) Massive Post: Part IV
Wow, it's been a while since I last updated my blog! ><" Almost a month, actually...unfortunately, it's the same excuse- I've been super busy with school, my jobs, church, etc. I hope to start blogging more often, though. I really miss it!
Oh, and here's a big HELLO to my new followers! :)
Anyway, here's the super duper late The Massive Post: Part IV! Better late than never, right? I added the (not so) because as I mentioned a while back, I can't find any of the pictures from my birthday >:( So here are the pictures of what I got for Christmas. I only asked for chocolate and money so I was surprised to find out that I still got a few other small things :)
Gahhh I love this cup so much :) I love the size of it, I love the floral print, I love the color, and I love the "J" printed on it :) And yes, it's supposed to be slightly crooked haha. That just makes me love it even more! I actually told my mom not to buy me any clothes/shoes from Anthropologie for Christmas because it's way too expensive; although the designs are breathtakingly gorgeous, I just can't justify spending $200 on a dress, especially since I'm going to college next year and those fees will add up to some ridiculous amount of money. So my mom didn't get me clothes/shoes from Anthropologie...but she got me a cup! :)
Combat boots <3 I love these so much. My mom told me to pick out a pair of shoes and since I have wanted a pair of black combat boots since forever, I chose this pair of Wanted boots from DSW.com. They're super comfortable! When my friends (and even my parents!) saw me wearing these, they all told me that they didn't think I would like combat boots but that I pulled it off really well...so I guess that's a good thing? Haha :)
Okay, you don't even understand how excited I was to receive these! This series is amazing! lsafjlskfj;slafj; lfkj I am so happy I own all of them now; I think my local library was getting fed up with all of my renewal requests for these book! My brothers pulled money together to buy me these books and I'm forever in their debt. Just kidding.
I'm not a fan of the cover in the middle, and honestly the third cover looks a bit cheesy....but the first cover? LOVE.

Finally, chocolate! Anddd a few sour apple-flavored candy canes. They sound a little disgusting but they were really good.
Anddd that's what I got :) Excluding the money, of course. I had so much fun buying presents for everyone this year; I didn't have a chance to take pictures of what I bought but it was a fairly random mix of items! Skincare products, toys, drumsticks, makeup, socks, etc....Overall, Christmas was amazing!
....it feels kind of weird typing that sentence, since Christmas was over a month ago....smh.

Old Navy, Forever 21, PacSun, and Bath & Body Works Haul
I can't help it. When I see a great bargain, I buy it...and it all adds up :( Why, After Christmas Sales, why?!
Old Navy had a huge sale, where a ton of items were 50-75% off. I bought these earrings for $3.
I also scored these awesome sparkly reindeer pajama pants for only $4!
Sweaters were also 75% off, so I bought this gray sweater for $7. I wish they had it in white, but the only white ones had these pom pom things on them T_T Oh well.
Sparkly tights for $5!
I also recently hung out with my friend Grace. We went to Petland to play with the puppies...but they turned out to be so vicious D: They kept biting our shoelaces and one latched onto Grace's sweater and wouldn't let go for a good few minutes!
We then headed to Goodwill, where I got this leather belt for $1.
Bath & Body Works still had its semi-annual sale, so we stopped by. I got this hand sanitizer for 50 cents, both body mists for $1.25, and the lip balm for $2. Yes, I bought a backup of the Enchanted body mist because I love it so much haha :)
After my job interview on Tuesday, I was stuck at the mall for a good 2 and a half hours because I didn't have the car that day and my mom decided to take my brother to see his physical therapist -_- I stopped by Forever 21, where they surprisingly still had the BOGO Free sale item promotion. I went through the rack quickly, because I expected that only the Large and X Large sizes were left. So I was more than thrilled when I found a pair of navy high-waisted shorts (something that has been on my To Buy list for a while!) in a size Small for $5!
Plus, the only other thing left in a size small was this pair of gray pajama shorts with red hearts, which was awesome because I actually needed to buy a pair of pajama shorts. So for both items I paid $5.40.
Then, I went to Pacsun. I usually never shop there (with the exception of that one order that I placed online) but I saw that they had this blue dot promotion where if you buy 1 sales item, you get 30% off, if you buy 2 you get 50% off, and if you buy 3 you get 70% off. When I went in, I was surprised to see how many things that I absolutely loved! I will be shopping more often at Pacsun now, which is conveniently located across from NY & C haha!
I found this shirt for $13 and was really surprised to find out at the cash register that it was only $6. Since I bought 2 other items, I got it for 70% off...only $2!
I also got this reindeer sweater in a size M. I was worried that it would be too big but I got it anyway because the sale associate said it was the last one left. When I tried it on at home (I didn't have much time in the store), it was a perfect fit. Not bad for $10 :)
Finally, I got this sequin top for $10.
Oh, and about The Massive Post: Part IV...I can't find the pictures from my birthday D: So I only have pictures of my Christmas presents....ughhh. I don't understand why technology hates me. That will be posted soon....

The Massive Post: Part II
Part II features food! I decided to extend The Massive Post to four parts because there are so many pictures that I have yet to edit and post @_@ There's not a lot of food, mainly because I never remember to take pictures haha...I just start eating right away and by the time I think, "I should take some pictures for my blog!", the food is already gone :P
Be on the lookout for Part III (more fashion/beauty hauls) and Part IV (my 18th Birthday/Christmas 2011) :)

I always get the vegetarian burrito bowl. I don't like burritos and I don't like to eat the meat because it's somewhat spicy...and I have absolutely no tolerance for spicy food!

Lindt hazelnut milk chocolate bar...so delicious <3

Lightly buttered popcorn

One word: amazing! I especially love the dragonfruit one!

Chocolate mocha cupcake...so good. I'll post the recipe/step-by-step instructions sometime in the future

Almond tofu! The regular gelatin mix on the far left is for when I make almond tofu from scratch...I actually prefer to make it from scratch over from a mix!

Krispy Kreme donut :) Sooo good.

A really delicious Korean cookie! Unfortunately, it cracked when I opened up the wrapper. Nevertheless, it tasted great :)
