Egg Tart & Coach Purchases

This morning I ate a couple of egg tarts (dan ta), which my mom picked up from Chinatown <3 They're so good! It's basically an egg custard, with a flaky crust.

Nothing much happened today. I went to church, and almost fell asleep because I was so tired from staying up last night with my family. We watched The Green Hornet, which was a really crappy movie by the way. I'm often disappointed by most movies. The only few exceptionally amazing movies on my list include Inception, The Social Network, Up, and Despicable Me. There's probably a few more, but I can't think of them right now.

Yesterday I forgot to mention that I also went to the outlet mall with my mom. We mainly went so my mom could use her 30% off Coach coupon. The mall opens at 10 am, so we headed out early and got there at approximately 10:20. There were already a ton of people there! Especially at the Coach store-oh goodness. There was a huge crowd of crazy overly excited women, snatching bags. My mom and I decided to brave the crowd, because my aunt asked my mom to buy her a Coach purse. My aunt lives overseas, and apparently Coach purses there are really expensive. My mom is visiting her soon, and would give the purse to her then. In the end, we ended up with 3 purses. One possibly for my mom, one for my aunt, and one possibly for me. And yes, they are all "C"-logo free. My mom and I are not fans of the repeated "C"-logo because we think they're tacky :P

This is the one that my mom may or may not keep. She likes small, genuine leather purses so this is honestly perfect for her! My mom still isn't sure whether she wants it though, because she just bought a Michael Kors purse a month or two ago.

This is the one for my aunt. She requested a black, big, leather purse. This is the only bag that we found that matched her "requirements". It's very business-professional, which is a plus because she goes on business trips a lot.

Finally, this is the one that I may or may not keep. It's gorgeous! It's a metallic bronze color (kind of hard to tell in the photos), and made of really soft leather. Unfortunately, it's the most expensive out of the Coach purses that we brought- it's around $250 I believe. Plus, I don't think it's that practical, because it's fairly big...so I'm probably going to ask my mom to return it for me :(

My ideal purse is still the Alexa (Mulberry) but it is $1,000...I am willing to spend up to $200 for a purse, but certainly not $1,000! What is your ideal purse? How much are you willing to spend for a purse?

  1. I know what you mean about the coach outlet, it's at a tourist mall here, so there's always a crowd.

Shame you don't want to keep your purse, I think it's quite cute but I agree practicality is important. I don't really have an ideal purse, I mean I have a couple of Coach's but more than 300+ is not worth it plus my style changes to much for me to have 1 consistent bag.

I agree, my style changes a lot too so it's not worth it to spend $500 on one purse. I've actually been looking into wristlets lately, because they're small and perfect for when I go out with friends but don't want to carry a huge purse with me ^^
