My first 2012 splurge :) $50 biker jacket from H&M. My own picture turned out really crappy so I decided to just use the stock photo from the site...ohmygoodnessgracious I am so in love with this jacket.

Part IV won't be up for a while....I still have to edit pictures! Funnnn....

Say Yes to Dresses

I'M DONE WITH MY FIRST BATCH OF COLLEGE APPS! :D I've been super stressed for the past few days and now it feels like a huge weight has been lifted off of my shoulders. That being said, I am so behind on my posts! I literally have 11 drafts typed up; I just have to edit the pictures haha. But here's a quick post :)

I stopped by  Nordstrom Rack a day or two ago. I didn't like any of the fall clothes/shoes so I wandered over to the clearance section and found this lovely maxi dress. It's the perfect length; it's not too short so it's at an awkward length and it's not too long so that it drags on the ground (which could would cause me to trip and fall flat on my face). It was also super cheap.....$9! The original price was $98. That's 91% off! Super awesome deal. I can't wait for summer~ (Only 7 more months....*sigh*)

I also went to H&M. H&M used to be my favorite store but for the past few months, I haven't found anything that I really love :/ I love online stores more haha. I got this dress for $15 (it was on sale) and while the shape is flattering, it's a little too big around the armhole area and I'm not a fan of the color yellow...I think I'm going to return it. What do you guys think?

One last thing that I'm really excited about: I'm turning 18 on November 8th :D My mom said she already made a dinner reservation at some restaurant but won't tell me where :( We're actually celebrating tonight because my birthday falls on a school day and my mom doesn't want to go out for dinner on a school night haha :P I'm okay with it though; I'm still getting presents, eating cake, and all that hooplah on that day :) I'm surprised that I'm this excited because usually I don't like making a big deal out of my birthday...but you only turn 18 once right? Can't waitttt!

H&M Mini Haul

I stopped by the mall with my mom yesterday...partially because we both wanted to go shopping, and partially because it was incredibly hot outside and we didn't feel like being cooped up inside the house :P We only had an hour so we didn't stop by that many stores: my mom went to Carson's and bought a pair of gorgeous white cropped pants and a pair of new shoes. Then we went to Forever 21 and Banana Republic, but I didn't see anything that I liked. Then we went to H&M and for once they had a TON of things I wanted to buy! Personally I usually only find 1 or 2 items that I really like, but this time I wanted to buy out half the store haha. I used some self-control though, and only bought 3 things :)

I found the plain white shirt on the sales rack for $3. I had been looking for a slightly oversized white shirt so I can cut it up, and this was the perfect size and shape. I was going to buy a white shirt from a craft store, but it turns out the one I got from H&M was of much better quality and even surprisingly cheaper. I can't wait to cut it up because it's one of my many DIY Projects I plan to do over the summer!

I wanted a black skirt because it goes with everything :) I already own 3 other black skirts, but they go up to my knees and I wanted a skirt that was slightly shorter...but not too short so that it's too scandalous :P

And finally....

I love love love love love these earrings! In the photo, they look kind washed out- but in reality they are peach-colored and absolutely gorgeous!! I first found the earrings in some random place, and I spent like 10 minutes walking around the jewelry area looking for another similar pair because the one that I found had ripped feathers. Of course, the store only had 2 other ones left, and out of the 3 total there was only 1 good one :D Which I bought, of course~!

I really do need to start saving up more money...but first I need to get a job D:  And so the job seeking/application process begins...
